Optical apparatus, applications of.-In apparatus wherein an object is seen by reflection in an inclined transparent mirror mounted in a casing, the part of the casing 3 behind the mirror 6 is open to permit a clear view therethrough. The object 8 maybe an electric lamp fashioned as a bottle, a cake of soap, &c., or may be a glass or celluloid copy of one side of an article. A mask 10 may be provided to prevent light passing round the object, and lettering may be cut out of the mask. Specification 244,942 is referred to.
