[Class 75 (ii).] - Reflectors.-In order to produce a daylight effect direct rays from an electric bulb or other artificial light source are blended with blue rays reflected by a reflector which is formed by providing a mirrored back to a transparent body the front surface of which is corrugated or otherwise made uneven. The reflector may be formed from blue glass or by providing one or both sides of a colourless glass with a thin sheet of blue glass or with a cellulose or other transparent blue varnish. The depth of colouring and the unevenness of the front surface of the reflector both depend upon the intensity of the light source and the distance from the reflector to the surface to be illuminated.
