Abstract

312,452. Canham, F. April 11, 1928. Lantern fronts. - A front glass for a vehicle lamp is provided on both sides with a series of staggened oblique markings. The front markings A and the back markings B may be confined to the upper portion only of the front glass, and instead of providing the markings or both sides of a single glass, the outer surfaces only of a pair of glasses stuck or placed together may be provided with the markings. The markings may be produced by means of white aciding, painting, or bv means of strips of paper or other material, stuck on to the glass.
