Abstract

245,251. Chamberlain, W. A. Nov. 17, 1924. Auxiliary gear; eccentric and leveractuated pumps; stroke, varying; assembling; suction reservoirs. - A multiple-pump lubricating apparatus comprises a container 6 and a valve box 5, in which the inlet and outlet valves 1, 2 are carried by plugs 3, 4 screwed into the valve box, the pump barrels 7 being removably mounted between the plugs. The plungers 10 are actuated by eccentrics 13 and levers 16, and may be handoperated by means of rods 17 projecting from the container adjacent the inlet valve plugs and provided with heads 18 adapted to engage the lower end of the levers 16. The rods 17 may be adjusted by a two-part nut 20 to vary the outstroke of the plungers.
