Abstract

244,900. Miller & Co., Ltd., and Mackintosh, R. H. June 19, 1925. Lubricant conveyed by mechanical means.- Each trunnion 6 of a haulage roller or pulley is supported in an oil well 11 by two or more rollers 7 having pintles 8 bearing in removable blocks 10 connected by a web 19. The blocks 10 are supported in a selfaligning manner upon a spherical or universal pivot 21 in the bottom of the oil well 11. Lubricant in the oil well is carried up to the bearing parts by the rollers 7, the web 19 having its upper face shaped as in Fig. 3 to assist this action.
