Abstract

173,142. Craig, D. B. Nov. 20, 1920. Guide pulleys and rollers. -A bearing-box for haulage rollers, having two lubricating compartments for the roller axle ends, is provided as shown with covers 3, each having one or more eyes 4 hinged to eyes 2 on the bearing-box by a hingepin 5, and with independent removable bearings 8. The cover is provided with a downwardly projecting lip 6, which weights it down and prevents entry of dirt. The bearing 8 comprises a part 11 preferably of semioctagonal contour, and an integral collar 7 carrying the roller trunnion 9 and received in a slot in the inner wall of the bearing-box.
