Abstract

244,378. Fornaca, G. Sept. 10, 1925. Vaporizcrs, external.-To control the heating of the mixture supplied to an engine manifold the inlet pipe 5 is branched, one branch 6, 7, 8 being heated by an exhaust jacket 3 and the other branch 11 being unheated, and interconnected valves 13, 14 direct the mixture into either or both of these paths. The paths unite again ir pipes 9 and the mixture is delivered to the engine cylinders through elbows 10 also heated by the exhaust jacket 3.
