Abstract

243,836. Sunderland, J. W., and Dunlop, F. E. Sept. 18, 1924. Wire fabrics for concrete reinforcements comprise intertwisted strands a, b, the direction of twist being reversed at intervals. Transverse wires c are threaded through the loops formed in the strands at each point at which the twist is reversed. Wire netting comprises wires d, e intertwisted ior portions of their lengths and bent to form the usual hexagonal mesh. The direction of twist is reversed at the central portion of the twisted part of the wires, leaving a loop f. Specification 246,190, [Class 83 (iv), Metals, Working), is referred to. Reference has been directed by the Comproller to Specifications 15642/84, 9188/94, 4740/00, and 13668/03, [Class 142, Weaving &c.].
