Abstract

242,875. Murray, T. B., and Albion Motor Car Co., Ltd. April 27, 1925. Connecting-rods.-In a gadgeon-pin of the type secured by end caps 5, 6, Fig. 1, connected by a tie rod 9, one end cap 6 is formed with a pocket 8 housing a spring 12 beneath the head 11, the other cap 5 being secured by a cotter 10 located in a recess. The cap may be slotted to facilitate insertion of the cotter 10. In a modification the cap 5 is secured by a split cone 13, Fig. 3, in engagement with a reduced section of the rod 9.
