241,317. Cole, Ltd., T. H., and Cole, T. H. Aug. 1, 1924. Springs, arrangement of; guiding vertical play. - The ends of .the axles of perambulators, push-chairs, &c. are mounted to slide on bolts rigidly carried by one of the ends of brackets which slope downwardly towards the chassis or frame members to which their other ends are rigidly secured at points remote from the axles. The axles are pressed downwardly against the chassis or frame or against members, other than the brackets, carried thereby by coiled compression springs or buffers disposed around the bolts between the brackets and the axles. The brackets 12 may be applied to the cee-springs of a perambulator, but as shown, they are secured by adjustable clips 21, rivets, &c. to a rigid frame 11. The bolt 14 secured to the overhanging end of each bracket passes through a hole in the axle 6 and is secured to the frame 11 by a clip 15, the spring 17 being arranged between the axle and the upper end of the bracket. The brackets may be connected to the frame at points inwardly or outwardly of the axles, and may be constituted by leaf springe, in which case the bolts slide through holes in the frame or through the clips 15.
