Abstract
241,108. Molen, E. van der. April 14, 1925. Discharging.-The drum 7 of a centrifugal separator has an open top and is provided with a knife 1 attached to a sloping curved shoot 2. The knife and shoot are carried by a slide 3 on a bar 4 supported by the fixed casing of the machine. A screw 5 enables the knife 1 tc be brought into contact with the deposit on the drum and the speed of the machine causes the discharged material to pass up the shoot 2 over the drum. The end of the shoot is support by a bar 8.
