Stationary - cutter apparatus. - In a feeding, printing or other sheet-working machine, feed roll shafts a. b carry rotary disc cutters e. e<1> for trimming the edges of the paper. The cutter e is clamped by washer f and nut g to a screwed collar e adjustably secured by a screw c' on the shaft a. A loose collar d carrying the cutter e<1> is slidable on the shaft b and is rotated by beaded pins d<2> secured to the collar d engaging holes in a sleeve d<1> adjustably fixed to the shaft. The cutters c, c<1> are maintained in contact by springs d<3> seated between the collar d and the sleeve d<1>. The resilient cutting element is removable from its shaft as a unit.
