Kaleidoscopic apparatus. -Optical apparatus for projecting kaleidoscopic or similar multiple images on to a groundglass screen or photographic plate, for use with opaque objects arranged horizontally comprises a conical chamber a having a tube b at its lower end containing two plain reflectors c supported by pillars i over a horizontal rotating table d upon which the objects are arrayed. The objects are illuminated by daylight or artificial light and images of the objects are projected on to the screen or photographic plate g by a lens f mounted at the upperend of the tube b. The plane mirrors may be replaced by totally reflecting prisms.
