[Class 132 (i)] [Also in Groups XVIII and XX] In dissolving-view display devices in which a large stationary or moving object is seen after reflection at concave and at plane mirrors, the parts are arranged so that the light from the object B strikes first a concave mirror a and is then reflected by one or more plane mirrors b, c before reaching the eye at A. The mirrors a, b, c are transparent, so that when pictures. lantern slides, mirrors, &c. i, k, l are illuminated by lamps d, e, or f, they are seen superposed on the object B or on a picture m located in front thereof and illuminated by a lamp q. Electromechanical switching means r may be provided for lighting the lamps d, e and f in succession. The picture &c. l may be carried by a wall o hinged to a further wall n which may support an article and can be folded against the case. A water tank may be placed over the picture k to hold living fish &c. The case is carried on feet p at a height made adjustable by locking levers q.
