Abstract
Hydrated products of olefines are obtained by heating the olefines with water under high pressure. Pressures of from 70 to 200 atmospheres at temperatures from 150 to 250 DEG C. may be used. The water is preferably acidulated, and the operation may be assisted by surface action.
