238,478. Trautwein, F. Sept. 26, 1924, [Convention date]. Assembling force fits. -A device for inserting and extracting bushes comprises a screw bolt a and a large abutment disc f used alone when inserting a bush k, Fig. 2, and used with an abutment tube d, Fig. 3, when extracting. The diameter of the head b must be slightly less than that of the smallest bush concerned, one of a series of washers g<2> being added for larger bushes. The internal diameter of the tube d must be slightly greater than the external diameter of the largest bush to be extracted one of a series of shouldered discs h<3> being added for smaller bushes. When not in use the whole series of washers and discs are threaded on the bolt.
