Barrel and cylindrical hinges; pivoting-adjustments. -A door and like hinge comprising a pair of flat plates 4a, 4<b> adapted to fold flat against or on one another, with one or more socket lugs 5a, 5<b> engaged by a pivot pin 6, is provided with washers 7 of friction material located between the lugs and adapted to be clamped against the lugs by end nuts 10, 9 to provide the required frictional resistance to the movements of the hinged door &c. A spring 8 may be provided on one end of the pivot pin.
