473,959. Shackles, locking bolts. MORRISON, W. D. March 30, 1937, No. 9065. [Classes 24 and 89 (i)] The threaded pin of a shackle is retained by resilient means mounted on the shackle. In the form shown, the pin 14 is counterbored at 18 and has diametrically opposite notches at its threaded end to receive the resilient strip 22 secured to the shackle by stud 30. The pin may have one, two or four notches and a wire may be used in place of the strip 22.
