[Class 89 (i)] Self-locking nuts are counterbored at 4 to receive a wire spring 3, for example of stainless steel, of the same pitch as the thread. One enc is anchored at 5 and the other enc is received in a clearance slot 7 so that if desired a tool may engage this end to facilitate unscrewing.
