Abstract

237,181. Gamble, M. L. Feb. 21, 1925. Stud-and-slot fastenings.-A device for locking the stud and slot fastenings of corset busks comprises a plate A elastically connected to the corset by a continuous rubber band C and having a keyhole slot a therein, adapted, when the band C is stretched, to be slipped over the head of the uppermost or other stud of the busk fastening and lock it. The band C is connected to the corset by a wire stirrup L, and may be detached from the plate A through an opening b<2> in the slot b<1> in which it is normally engaged. A piece of wire bent to the desired outline may be employed in place of the plate A.
