Abstract

237,113. Ridgill, E. Aug. 21, 1924. Jigging conveyers.-The stationary cam paths c for the rollers b are kept at the proper distance apart by tie rods e. The downwardly bent ends g of the rods e engage with holes in lugs f provided at the centre of the paths c. The path c adjacent to the lever h described in Specification 228,035 is slidably mounted in guides k in a frame k<1> detachably connected to the engine frame A in order that it may be moved laterally as the point of connection of the connecting rod i<1> and lever h is varied. A bolt passed through a hole q in one of the guides k is also passed through any one of a series of holes r in the frame of the cam path. The lug f<1> on the frame A is also provided with a series of holes s for adjustment of the adjacent rod c. Entry of dust into the paths c is prevented by placing them on a metal plate n, Fig. 3, having upstanding sides o which are covered by plates p attached to the conveyer trough.
