Abstract

315,530. Stephens, J. E. May 30, 1928. Jigging-conveyers. - In conveyers of the kind in which each trough section rests on roller elements extending from side to side and caused to travel backwards and forwards on a cradle, the cradle is provided on either or both sides of each roller path 4, 5 with a guide bracket comprising a vertical plate 8 having a slot 9 corresponding to the profile of the path and engaged either by the roller axle 6 or boss 10 so as to prevent the rollers leaving the cradle in transit. In the construction shown the cradle comprises two cross pieces 2, 3 connected together by angle-section roller paths 4, 5.
