Connecting-rods. - In a piston for an internal-combustion engine of the type in which the whole of the lower surface of the gudgeon pin forms a bearing surface, the piston is formed with two semicylindrical lugs a to which a hollow gudgeon pin b is secured by means of studs c. The length of the lower brass f of the connecting- rod is approximately the length of the gudgeon pin, while the length of the cap e is approximately equal to the distance between the lugs a.
