Abstract

A flood protection system comprises a frame fitted within a doorway, a shield which may be slid into the frame and oval wedge shaped clips which apply pressure on the shield to force it against the frame. Seals between the frame and the shield ensure that the system is water tight. The frame and clips may be made from aluminium or any other suitable material, the shield may be made from polycarbonate.

There are some other flood barriers with patents such as [US038610811 AND [US046824431 The first one is has a u shape metal band with rubber inside the shield is placed in side And screws tightened the shield to make it water tight looking at the patent it has a lot Of components The second flood barrier has a lot more than the first and I think it is to complicated.
My invention has only 5 components and is 1001/o water tight, it is also very simple To fit and the shieldjust slides in to place and then clipped, %,ater tight.it is very quick And easy to put together when required.

1. A system comprising of a U channel frame a shield a rubber seal and oval wedge shaped clips.
2. A system as claimed in claim I where a u channel is fitted to openings.
3. A system as claimed in claim I or claim 2 where a shield is slotted in to frame.
4. A system as claimed in clain I where an oval wedge shaped clip is fitted to apply pressure and seal shield to frame.
5. A system as claimed in claim I and claim 4 as an oval wedge shape clip can be fitted to seal nidged objects to any size U channel.
