233,712. Deutsche Maschinenbau-und Vertriebs-Ges. May 6, 1924, [Convention date]. No Patent granted (Sealing fee not paid). Feeding webs.-In a web-roll mounting for duplicating, office printing, and like printing machines, means is provided medially of the ends of the roll shaft for preventing rotation of the roll when it is not centrally situated on its shaft. The roll is arranged on a core a provided, centrally thereof, with holes b to receive spring- supported balls f mounted in a bearing sleeve d. This sleeve is freely rotatable on a fixed shaft m unless the core is not in correct position, in which case the head of a bolt h fixed to a ball f<1> engages a position i on the shaft m. Spring- pressed balls f may also be provided at the ends of the sleeve d to form a resilient sealing for the core a.
