Folding paper.-In a paper-folding machine employing buckling folders b<1> - - l, Fig. 4, constructed as described in Specification 234,079, the sheets are delivered from the machine by rollers m, m<1>, either to a stacker, or alternatively, to a transverse conveyer t which carries the sheets to a cross-folder, in which case the sheets pass from the rollers m, m<1> through a throat p to rollers n, n<1> which deliver them to the conveyer t. The rollers m, m<1> are carried by arms m<11> secured to a. hand-rocked shaft o, and the rollers n, n<1> and throat p are carried by arms n<11> loosely mounted on the shaft o but capable of being attached to the arms m<11> by means of a spring-pressed bolt q, Fig. 6. When the sheets are being delivered to the stitch, the arms m<11>, n<11> are disconnected, and the arms n<11> swung into inoperative position resting on stops r.
