Hubs. - To provide rigidity in a hub cap, the flange a is a flat ring cut from iron, steel or like plate, the cap e being thinner and formed of brass, nickel, aluminium or the like, and passing through a central aperture b in the flange a. A narrow lip f in the cap fits a recess c in the flange, and the parts may be permanently connected by indenting or spinning over portions of the flange near the lip. Holes d for the fastening bolts are formed in the flange.
