231,119. Filmer, R. H. Feb. 19, 1925. Folding specially-shaped boxes. - A hexagonal folding box is constituted by a base a folding along a line a<1> and having sides b hinged to it, these sides carrying the four remaining sides b<1>, b<1>, b<2>, b<2>. The bottom also carries four flaps c which when the box is erected are connected to the sides by strings f<1> passed through holes e, f by engagement beneath tabs g, and in some cases by engagement beneath a folded-over rim h, and in other cases by securing a tab c<1> on one flap to the adjacent flap. The sides are further secured by sewing strips i to the sdies, or strips may be inserted within the box and sewn across the meeting edges.
