Supporting superheaters. - In a superheater having a number of elements with branches 19 all in one plane, a baffle 21 extending across the superheater is built up of a number of plates 22 each formed with notches 25 in one of its edges to receive the branches of an element. A baffle extending across a superheater fitted above the tubes of a water-tube boiler with horizontal watertubes 6 forms a continuation of the baffle 14 extending across the water-tubes. The superheater baffle rests upon the water-tubes and against an angle-plate 26 secured to the'water-tubes.
