Screw fan apparatus.-Fan blades e are carried by the rotor d secured to the shaft c which also carries the rotor b of the electric driving motor. The stator a of the motor is supported in a shell g which is surrounded by the diffuser h of the fan and thereby cooled. The diffuser has rectifying guides i and is bounded by a casing which may be connected directly to the discharge conduit. Auxiliary blades f on the rotor d draw air through passages in the motor and the wall n deflects it towards the main blades e.
