Non-metallic hollowware; bodies.-A drinking- vessel of paper or like material comprises a shallow cup-shaped base 2 having an open top and closed bottom to which a cylindrical body 7 is secured by an adhesive to form a liquid-tight joint; the lower part of the cylindrical body is corrugated to fit similar corrugations in the base. The overlapping longitudinal edges of the blank from which the cylindrical part is formed, are united by adhesive and covered by a reinforcing strip 12 and a reinforcement 12a is fixed around the open end thereof.
