Abstract
An office building construction (10) has a floor area (9) defined by front and rear and left and right side walls (11, 12 13, 14). The floor area includes a plurality of groups of workstation modules (W) located adjacent said front and rear walls, said groups of workstations being separated by storage compartments (S). <IMAGE>
Description
An Office Building Construction
The present invention relates to an office building construction.
According to the present invention there is provided an office building construction having a floor area defined by front and rear and left and right side walls, said floor area including a plurality of groups of workstation modules located adjacent said front and rear walls, said groups of workstations being separated by storage compartments.
An embodiment of the invention will now be described, by way of example, with reference to the accompanying drawing which is a plan view of an office building construction according to the invention.
Referring now to the drawing, there is shown an office building construction generally indicated at 10 according to the invention. The office building 10 comprises a floor area 9 defined by front and rear and left and right side walls 11, 12, 13 and 14 respectively. Groups of two and four workstation modules
W are defined by partition members 15 and 16 respectively and are located adjacent the front and rear walls 11 and 12.
A pair of larger off ices 20 and 21 are located adjacent the corners of the front and left side walls 11, 13 and the front and right side walls 11, 14 respectively. Banks of storage compartments S project away from both the front and rear walls 11, and 12 are interspersed between respective groups of workstations W and the offices 20, 21.
The remainder of the floor area 9 is occupied by miscellaneous workstation modules W'.
Claims (2)
1. An office building construction having a floor area defined by front and rear and left and right side walls, said floor area including a plurality of groups of workstation modules located adjacent said front and rear walls, said groups of workstations being separated by storage compartments.
2. An office building construction substantially as hereinbefore described with reference to the accompanying drawings.
