Abstract

228,108. Sulzer FrÞres Soc. Anon. Jan. 22, 1924, [Convention date]. Addition to 225,184. Valve gear.-A fuel injection device, having a spraying valve which co-operates with a spring- pressed piston for injecting fuel on the opening of the valve, instead of discharging into the cylinder directly as described in the parent Specification, delivers into a pipe line. As shown in Fig. 1, the accumulator piston f is separated from the valve c and a lever q is provided to close the valve and maintain it on its seating after injection. An alternative construction is described, in which the piston f is annular in form and surrounds the valve c as in the parent Specification.
