Abstract

Blasting fuzes.-Relates to electric fuzes M combined with detonators K with the interposition of a short length of time fuze V wholly enclosed in the detonator casing. According to the invention, the detonator is slidably fitted into the electric fuze so that the internal pressure due to the ignition of the time fuze forces the detonator out of the electric fuze completely or sufficiently to uncover lateral vent holes E<2> if any such are provided, whereby, in either case, the gases may escape, while the detonator cannot be accidentally pulled out by the fuze.
