Blades. - The moving and stationary blades 3, 4 of an elastic fluid turbine are made with the outlet angles a, b increasing from the inner to the outer peripheries of the blade area. For example the outlet angles of the moving blades may be 35‹, 40‹ and 55‹ at the inner periphery, middle, of the blade area and outer periphery, the corresponding fixed blade outlet angles being 30‹,. 35‹ and 45‹. The moving blades taper towards the periphery and their corresponding inlet angles may be 50‹, 70‹, and 85‹. The blades may be twisted. The invention is applicable to the tier arrangement of blades described in Specification 14053/15.
