224,832. Bell, W. T., and Perry, F. B. July 15, 1924. Pistons; attaching to rod. - A piston for a uniflow engine comprises two end members 6, 7, which are held against a sleeve 5, screwed on to the piston-rod, by nuts 8, 9. The space between the members 6, 7 is enclosed by two cones 19, having inner flanges 21 which are riveted together, and outer flanges 20 positioned in grooves in the members 6, 7. The end walls 14, 15 of the members 6, 7 are connected to thebosses 10, 11 by conical walls 16, 17.
