Abstract

Plate and like superheaters. - A solid plate is provided with one or more sinuous ducts to form a superheater, the end A being connected to the steam chamber of a boiler, and the outlet B providing superheated steam for the combustion zone of the oil burner of the boiler. When superheated steam is also required for other purposes, additional sinuous ducts are provided and suitably connected up. Plugs C close the inspection leads to the ducts.
