Laminated wood.-Ply wood is built up of wooden sheets interspersed with sheets of woven fabric, the grain of the wood and the strands of the fabric being arranged at a different angle in each layer, and the layers united by cold waterproof cement under pressure. The product is stated to be especially suitable for use in making the discs of an engine-testing fan or dynamometer.
