Abstract

Reflectors; mounting reflectors. - A lamp reflector, more particularly for use in shop-window illumination, comprises an eight-sided substantially truncated pyramidal-shaped hollow casing having six flat side walls 1 - - 6, a rear wall having four mutually inclined faces 7 - - 10, and a front wall having three mutually inclined faces 11, 12, 13, the base 14 of the hollow casing having an internal lip 32 upon which rest pieces of silvered glass which form a lining for the hollow casing and are held in position by a clip or strip of metal 33. The hollow casing is supported by means of a ring 34, which also assists in keeping the pieces of silvered glass in position, screws 36 being used for securing the ring 34 to an eightsided substantially truncated pyramidalshaped body portion 15. The body portion is provided with ventilation holes 23 and the hot air escapesbetween the body portion and an eight-sided substantially-truncated pyramidal-shaped cap 25 which partially surrounds and is kept at a distance, from the body portion 15 by screws 26. Thecap 25 is provided with an aperture 27 for a bayonet holder 28 of an electric lamp 29 and with means such as a plate 30 for supporting the reflector from above.
