Liquid-meters. - In a liquid-meter, a removable apertured member k<2> arranged between the inlet valve of the meter and the inlet conduit k<1> holds a strainer w in position over a sediment collector x. The conduit is provided with a valve z, which is closed by a spring to cut off the supply of liquid when a plug y is removed for the removal of the strainer &c. The valveoperating mechanism of the meter is constructed as described in Specification 213,215.
