Fluid-actuated gears. - In a conveyer or like motor with means for regulating the stroke during normal working, the piston-rod has a helical grove or slot 12 which registers with a port 16 in an adjustable, hollow, concentric spindle 15, and puts the forward end of the coaxial distributing- valve 4 in communication with the forward end of the main cylinder, which is open to the atmosphere to effect the reversal of the valve and the return of the piston. The valve ends are constantly supplied past needle valves with fluid pressure, and the rear end is put to exhaust by a pistonoperated tappet valve, The spindle 15 carries an arm 18 provided with a locking-screw 19 which engages a valve-chest shoulder 20.
