Vehicle windows. - Movable pillars for vehicle windows are arranged to be moved bodily inwards of the vehicle and then turned down about a pivot having its axis substantially at rightangles to the vehicle body, so that the movement of the pillar does not interfere with the passengers or seats. The pillar E is adapted to be swung about a pivot D which is carried by an arm C pivoted about a pivot C<2> in a recess in the door or vehicle body. The pillar is, adapted to be swung inwardly to the position shown in dotted lines, and then turned down about the pivot D. A suitable spring latch, such as G, is provided to keep the pillar in vertical position.
