Delivering molten metal.-Relates to the manufacture of plate glass, and more particularly to the method of casting the contents of a melting pot on to the rolling-table. According to the invention, the pot of metal a, Fig. 4, is brought near to one side of the rolling table g and is then turned about an axis d<1> extending near the upper edge of one of its side walls, as shown in Fig. 6. In order to facilitate the process, the fork 3, 3<1> that grips the pot has its shaft 6 cranked, so that the axis of the part 5, which is journalled in the supporting-device 2, is in line of the edge of the pot over which the glass flows.
