[Class 83 (i).] In pouring metal from an electric induction furnace 1 or other container into a mould 3 there are severally turned about a common axis 2 near communicating overflow edges or openings 5 in such a way as to ensure quiet flow. A screen 6 may be arranged in the container to arrest slag.
