207,546. Langemeyer, C. Nov. 23, 1922, [Convention date]. Yeast.-In preparing yeast by the aeration process, the stream of air leaving the fermentation vat passes through a spray of limewater which absorbs carbon dioxide, alcohol, &c. from the air and returns them to the vat. Calcium lactate is formed in the vats and is decomposed by addition of sulphuric acid.
