Lift valves; actuating - mechanism.-In a three-way lift valve, particularly adapted for controlling the flow of air from a compressor either to a reservoir or to waste, the casing a is provided with an inlet passage d constantly open, an outlet passage b controlled by the valve face f, and another outlet passage j controlled by a valve face o. The passage j is formed in a guide member h which screws into the casing a and is provided with a series of openings s. The double valve member m is carried by a spindle l, on the outer end of which a nut w is rotatably fixed. The nut carries a handle and screws on to the guide h to actuate the valve. The inlet d may communicate with either of the outlets b or j.
