Abstract

206,883. Harrison, R., and Fawcus, G. H. June 15, 1922. Wheels and other tools comprise powdered or granular abrading-material and a bond of non- ferrous metal, for example aluminium or an alloy of such metal. The aluminium or alloy, in a finely-divided state, is melted in contact with the abrading material in moulds, or the abrading-material may be mixed with melted aluminium or alloy, the whole then being mixed into a homogeneous plastic mass, which may be cast, moulded, or compressed into the required shape. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 5255/83, 147,685, 149,686, and 155,810.
