205,459. Becker, J. Oct. 13, 1922, [Convention date]. Drawings to Specification. Coke ovens.-In a coke oven of the kind described in Specification 171,117, in which vertical flues in the heating-walls in opposite sides of an oven are connected by horizontal header flues and a cross-over flue, the vertical flues are so grouped that the heating of the end sections of the oven can be controlled independently of that of the middle section. In the oven described there are five groups of flues in each heating-wall, and the cross-over flues are uniformly spaced along the length of the oven. The regenerator and gas supply arrangements are substantially identical with those of Specification 171,117.
