Abstract
204,495. Vivian, A. C. Sept. 1, 1922. Flotation processes.-In a flotation process for the treatment of ores, concentrates and the like containing lead, with or without zinc, animal gall or bile, or substances containing them, or the soluble salts of the amido acids present in gall or bile, are employed in association with alkali metal cyanides for facilitating flotation of the lead compounds. A small quantity of oily or greasy substances such as heavy hydrocarbons may also be present. In some cases the froth may be sprayed with dilute alkali cyanide solution.
