Abstract

203,431. International Onepipe Heater, Ltd., (International Heater Co.). June 19, 1922. Air, heating.-Hot air is circulated in buildings by an installation comprising a heater 1 arranged in a spaced sheet metal air-heating casing to form a self-contained unit, the hot air issuing vertically through the top of the casing and being led to the upper part of the building &c. by a conduit 7, while cold air is abstracted at or near the floor level through a conduit 8 to be reheated. The air may be humidified in any known way at any point in the circuit. The heater may stand at a lower level than the floor of the room which it heats, the cold air conduit 8 opening in the floor of the room; or the heater may stand over a pit, to which air from the floor level is led.
